Davis' 'hands-on' experience as a business owner and involved board member equips him with a strong understanding of the board creation and enhancement process, as well as the best practices in developing and maintaining a successful board. Davis founded Mage, LLC in 1983 to address the growing need of entrepreneurial companies for sage advice on business strategy, organizational development, change management and financial services issues. Davis is the architect and vision for the company's strategy and unique methodology for organizational change and value realization. His energetic, 'hands-on' approach and ability to focus on each client's personal and specific needs has helped build Mage into one of the leading management consulting firms in New England.

Davis works with each client on a personal basis and utilizes his diverse background and unusual flexibility to identify corporate goals and develop a strategy to enhance growth or ensure a smooth transition. Over the past two decades, Davis has worked with more than 600 owners and leaders of successful companies to define their vision and goals and achieve overall success. His expertise includes advising executives of growing organizations on all aspects of leadership, from initial strategy and organizational design and change to marketing and business plan implementation.

Before founding Mage, Davis established his reputation as an entrepreneurial strategist and marketing and sales expert, working for well-known international organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, Avis and Quaker Oats. Davis also serves as President Emeritus of the New England Jewish National Fund.

David did his undergraduate work at Concordia University in Montreal, where he majored in psychology and commerce. He pursued graduate studies at the University of Ottawa, majoring in marketing with a minor in human resource development.
