Independent Directors has developed a clear philosophy on the role of a board in building a business

Familiarity frequently breeds a casualness in the way that business is conducted. Sometimes that is not so bad, but often familiarity stops management from examining their sales, manufacturing and other business efficiencies. It stops them from examining their personnel. It stops them from examining whether there might be new solutions for operational issues.

It is important to us to provide companies with an opportunity to have a fresh look at the manner in which it is carrying on its business.

Everyone in every walk of life can benefit from having someone smart look at and review the manner in which things are done. We all get stale if we are not challenged. Our philosophy is that providing a corporation with an independent director from our multidisciplinary group, will enable the operating officers to achieve a new level of success because they will be able to get a fresh look at their approaches to a variety of issues and problems. Although as directors we represent the interests of the shareholders, it is important to our group that the operating personnel with whom we are dealing not be threatened by the process. Ultimately our goal is to provide the operating officers with a mirror so that they can help themselves to enhance the value of the company. We believe this is possible by being sensitive to the needs of the company and the operating officers.

Our value will be enhanced by the development of a strong working relationship with management which we can achieve because of each of our skills and approach.
